Biscuit the bunny!!!

Today we had a very special visitor!! He was incredibly friendly, cuddly and soft and his name is Biscuit! He came to visit Year 4 as we have been researching and creating leaflets about how to take care of a rabbit.

The children have enjoyed performing their poems in small groups this week.

Science - 8.2.23. Today we had our first lesson on Electricity. The children were full of excitement to learn about Static electricity using balloons and how electrons need to be opposites to attract. It was an ecstatic afternoon filled with learning and fun!

We have been exploring different types of poems and features used. We have been studying the poem Three Jolly Gentlemen by Walter De La Mare.

Spring 1, Geography - Year 4 have been very busy learning about Coasts. We recently discussed the importance of reducing plastic waste and how this impacts the Coasts in the United Kingdom.

Art - Creating Mosaics

English - Playscripts. Year 4 have worked really well to write their own playscripts using stage direction and written dialogue. The children then acted out the scenes!

SCARF workshop 2023 - The children really enjoyed this workshop learning about our wonderful bodies.

Christmas Party - We played 'Hats and Gloves' to eat the chocolate, 'Tball' wearing winter items, 'Make a Snowman' using a toilet roll and finally 'Pass the Parcel'.
